Dealing with uncertainty in a rapidly changing landscape became the norm during the pandemic. The current economic environment is no different. As a result, MRA created this survey to gather input on employers’ business and economic outlooks for 2023.

More than half of survey respondents are concerned about the economy (91 percent), talent pipeline (83 percent), unpredictable supply chain (68 percent), government policies (63 percent), meeting customer demands (61 percent), and cybersecurity (61 percent).

Yet, in the midst of those concerns, respondents are optimistic about the outlook for 2023. Sixty-five percent of respondents project that they will see a slight to significant increase in their revenue, whereas 57 percent project a slight to significant increase in their profit margin.
